Hi Supernatural fans! If you haven't already checked out the Winchester Family Business site I strongly suggest that you do! Alice Jester (and now her team of writers) cover many fascinating aspects of the show, the characters and the mythology behind the stories that continually blow me away. Today I was extremely taken by a character study of Sam Winchester that I would love to bring to your attention. It's absolutely brilliant and has given me insight into this character that I've never had before.

Its been a slow morning on the Supernatural front so I decided to revisit some of Alice's older blog posts. Imagine my delight when I ran across the amusingly titled "The Enigma of Sam Winchester's Hair!" Alice takes a season by season look at all of Sammy's hairdays - good and bad! All Hell Breaks Loose Hair

Well, if you're gonna die in your brother's arms, you might as well go out looking fabulous. What a pretty corpse, and even when waking it looks pretty well done. It just goes to show you, always keep your hair in check, just in case you get stabbed to death.

#2 Sam and Madison – “Heart”

You know this had to rank high. You KNEW it. So what do I say? Sam is horny. Sam hasn’t gotten laid since Jessica. Sam thinks he just saved a hot werewolf from a lifetime of doom. Sam thinks he can’t go back to their chemistry before they found out she was a werewolf, so Madison nudges him along by jumping his bones. Sam reacts by slamming her into the wall. Yeah, it's as steamy as you'd expect. There’s nothing tender about this tryst until the final shot, of both naked sleeping in each other’s arms. I really chuckle when I realize Kim Manners shot this scene. The guy even knows his sex scenes. He was truly invincible.

Yes that scene from Heart is HOT - look at the size of his arms! Holy Crap! And well the towel scene - I think you've said it best Candy - Nom Nom Nom and Sam's not even my favorite! ')
