04/17 - At last night's Big Bang Theory event at PaleyFest '09, leading lady Kaley Cuoco revealed to EW exclusively that she's Seattle Grace-bound. "I am working on Grey's Anatomy next week," she confirmed. "It is a big ol' secret. I have no clue what I am doing. I swear on my life that I have no idea what I am playing because it is the finale and they are keeping it under wraps until the last possible moment."

TONIGHT Jim Parsons is on "Letterman." He's doing "The View." He's making the rounds of TV talk shows. So who exactly is Jim Parsons?

Nerdy, geeky, overly analytical Ph.D. misfit physicist Sheldon on CBS's sitcom "The Big Bang Theory," who understands how the universe works but can't wrap his head around normal interaction -- like with people. Or women. OK, so in real life, how's he do? Does he live with someone? A lady? A man? A mother? An anybody?

"A dog. Otis. A small white mutt who seems to be a Maltese but whose wavy hair and underbite say he's a large part something else, but I haven't tested him with one of those kits because I don't trust them. And, with my new income, I bought us a house in LA. I thought maybe the time was right to be investment-oriented. I lived in New York before.

"My mother's in Houston, where I grew up. She's ecstatic with my new success. I tell her I'm happy I'm finally getting a consistent paycheck. She tells me she's happy that her friends say they've seen me and on real prime time, not some obscure cable thing.

"People are starting to recognize me. I'm not mobbed like Brad Pitt, but you sometimes see them staring on the street. They say things like, 'My brother-in-law told me to watch your show. I wasn't interested before but now . . . ' And they ask about the geek thing. Like, 'Are you as smart as Sheldon?' No! Nor has my lifestyle changed any. I'm still socially in the same middle of the road as before.

"Sheldon has all these hard physicist words. It requires heavy memorization for me. I have to look them up to learn their pronunciation and meaning. I didn't use dictionaries and encyclopaedias this much in school. It's scholastic. Like homework. Fans ask do I improvise. Improvise?! With regular comedy series you can be fast and loose, but I'm married to this text. Where would I begin to improvise science speeches?"
