Great list Jess. I've heard of Jack's Mannequin but hadn't listened to their music until now. What a beautiful song Swim is. Didn't the director of Twilight create one of their videos? I remember posting something about that this past fall. Will have to look for it in the a.m.
BTW, I was introduced to Warren Zevon at a record release party over 20 years ago and had no idea at that time what a genius he was. Silly, stupid young me...

Thanks Flo! I hadn't heard of the Twilight director creating one of their videos . . that's cool though! All of Jack's Mannequin songs are really great . . the lyrics are very meaningful and inspirational. The lead singer of the group was formally know from the band Something Corporate, which is also another great band. The music is a little bit different between the two, but they are both really great, I wish they could exist together! And Warren Zevon . . I love his music! I knew of Zevon from the song Werewolves of London, but I hadn't actually heard anything else until I started watchign Californication and they referenced him and played some of his music on the show. Then I donwloaded a few things and now I'm a fan! Not a problem sharing, I hope you liked them!
