OK, these pictures are just too freaky! I've never liked AIW and after seeing these pictures I'll be hiding under the bed & won't be seeing it but I'm sure many of you out there will enjoy it!

Michael Sheen, one of the newest additions to the cast of The Twilight Saga: New Moon, has another film on the minds of many at the moment. Sheen will portray the white rabbit in Tim Burton's re-creation of Disney's Alice In Wonderland.

These photographs of stars Johnny Depp, Helena Bonham Carter, Anne Hathaway and Mia Wasikowska give us a taste of what we can expect from Burton's newest classic

This looks like it's going to be an awesome movie . . with a great cast. I love Johnny Depp, so it's a must-see for me. I actually, believe it or not, have never seen the Disney movie Alice In Wonderland. I couldn't even tell you what it's about. Haha, I guess this will be a first.

OMG Jess! You never read the book as a girl? Wow I'm stunned. I seriously suggest that you rush out to the book store or library and pick up a copy of the original story and not a cartoon version of it. Reading it as an adult will probably blow your mind. :)

Hahaha no Flo, never read the book nor seen the movie. I guess that's something I'll have to do before the movie comes out! There's a few classics I've never seen, like Peter Pan!

Jess - You definitely should. If you want to read it online go to Project Gutenberg's site below. It should be a quick read and this version has the original text and pen&ink drawings.

http://www.cs.cmu.edu/~rgs/alice-table.html

And this is a really great Alice in Wonderland website that should address many of the questions I'm sure you'll have once you read the story.

Thanks Flo, I'll definitely check that out. I'm in the middle of reading a different book right now . . but I'm well on my way to finishing it, so I will be sure to check out those websites you gave me. Thanks!

Just released! The fantastic Alice in Wonderland trailer! Oh so cool! Text from MTV.com

Trailer, Shot-By-Shot: Starring The Mad HatterJohnny Depp prominently featured in preview for Tim Burton's reimagining.

Following a premature Wednesday leak, the debut teaser trailer for Tim Burton's "Alice in Wonderland" hit the Internet, fresh from its San Diego Comic-Con premiere. The director brings a unique visual aesthetic to everything he does. His films feel like waking dreams, with fantastical imagery and characters that seem a little bit "off."

If anyone was unsure about this perfect pairing of director with source material, this trailer officially sets the record straight. With the March 5 release date still quite a distance away, join us in obsessing over this all-too-brief glimpse at Burton's "Wonderland" in our shot-by-shot breakdown:

Shot 1: Alice (Mia Wasikowska) running for the rabbit hole. She must be late for a very important date!

Shot 2: That's a mighty big hole. Careful, Alice! The ground looks unsteady — oh crap, she fell.

Shot 3: How deep does that rabbit hole go, you ask? Deep enough to house flying lanterns, chairs, bookcases, tables ... all manner of furniture and household items.

Shot 4: A "Drink Me" bottle and a key on a table. This is Alice's second trip to Wonderland. Hasn't she learned yet to unlock the door before drinking the magical shrinking juice?

Shot 5: Clearly she hasn't. Hi there, tiny Alice!

Shot 6: Wonderland looks cool and all, but seriously, how did Alice manage to trim down that now-oversized dress of hers?

Shot 7: It's Alice strolling through the woods with the White Rabbit, the Dodo and brothers Tweedledee and Tweedledum. Look carefully at the beginning of the shot to see a mouse running ahead of the Rabbit. The Dormouse perhaps? Or just the Mouse?

Shot 8: The White Queen's (Anne Hathaway) castle looks very cool. What could she and Alice be discussing at such a late hour, amidst all of those giant horse-head statues?

Shot 9: It's ... it's ... it's ... the Cheshire Cat. So beautifully creepy. Why won't you speak with Stephen Fry's voice? Looks like we're waiting until the next trailer.

Shot 10: OK, who the heck is this guy? Note the heart-shaped eye patch. Do you think he's an agent of the evil Red Queen (Helena Bonham Carter)?

Shot 11: Why don't you ask her? There she is, in all of her terrifying, half-real/half-CG glory. This may just be the most nightmarish Burton image since Large Marge.

Shot 12: The Queen's red card soldiers rushing past a many-toothed beast. Could that be a fearsome reimagining of the Jabberwocky? Or perhaps a 'roided up Cheshire Cat?

Shot 13: Oh no, a giant bird — the Dodo? — flew off with Tweedledee and Tweedledum!

Shot 14: Who is that coming through the door, flanked by the Red Queen's soldiers? Could the Mad Hatter be a prisoner?

Shot 15: That's a mighty familiar hat ...

Shot 16: There he is, folks. Johnny Depp, our new Mad Hatter.

Shot 17: You shouldn't walk on the dinner table. Or the tea-party table. It is highly unsanitary.

Shot 18: "Alice! You're terribly late, you know — naughty!" A chiding from the Mad Hatter. Now sing the "Merry Unbirthday" song!

Shot 19: Now he's flinging his top hat out like a Frisbee. What might that accomplish?

Shot 20: Title image. Nooooo! It can't be over already!

Shot 21: A laughing, hatless Hatter. Who's mad now, chuckles? Still you.

Shot 22: Don't piss off the White Rabbit. Or he might glare and angrily tap his pocket watch at you. And then strand you in a nightmarish land where animals speak in rhyme and lively decks of cards try to take your head off.

Shot 23: March 5, 2010! Not soon enough! And there's that grinning feline again, taunting us with his silence.

Shot 24: In case it wasn't clear, "Alice in Wonderland" is the Mad Hatter's time to shine. And to unfurl rolls of colorful fabric, apparently.

Disney has yanked the video from Youtube but if you click on the link below and choose See the Trailer you'll be good to go....

Okay we'll have to do this the "old fashioned" way -

Go to the Disney Website (see below) and click on See the trailer:

Here's a really cool "pictoral" video of the main characters of Tim Burton's Alice in Wonderland:
