The prescription for the residents of Port Charles, NY is the love of power--and the power of love. As their daily lives unfold amidst a backdrop of mob wars and mansions, the towering face of General Hospital is a constant. Filled with crises both medical and romantic, GH remains the common arena that links the town together.
Created by Frank and Doris Hursley, General Hospital premiered on April 1, 1963.

Okay, I'll have to be honest...As of lately I've been fast forwarding a lot of General Hospital. It's been rather Blah. So lets see what do I watch umm...Tracy and Luke because they make me laugh. Love love love Alexis and Diane. Those two are soooo very funny. OH because nothing else has been very good I've been watching Robin and Patrick. I'm a huge fan of Sam (Kelly Monaco) so I watch when she is on TV. I like Sam and Lucky, they're kinda cute.
You know, I often ask myself, when was I last really happy and loving G.H. I have one answer.
OH wait, that's the same reason just twice! Okay, I have to say I know most people don't like them together and that's fine. I also support other couples fan bases. So let it be known I'm not one to do the whole "My couple is better than yours...la la la."
All right...Ready set...Go!

You know, Jason is one of my favorite characters and I've been watching him for so long.
He was a couple with Robin; with Sam; with Elizabeth. I'll watch Jason whoever he's with,
it really doesn't much matter to me. I really like Sam, but I also like Elizabeth (for completely
different reasons). I really do like Sam with Lucky too. They play well off each other and I
think they make a really good couple.
Want to talk about another Jason pairing? I love watching him interact
with Spinelli....you know....The Jackel. Those two crack me up on the screen because they
are such an unlikely pairing. It took me a while to realize that Bradford Anderson was really
a D*mn good actor. He'd have to be to pull off a character like Spinelli. I also really love the
scenes Spinelli has with Sonny. Always so amusing to watch Sonny's reaction to him.
I love watching Luke and Tracy too. If ever an odd couple existed....it's them. But they make
it work so beautifully.
Alexis has always been another fav of mine. She and Diane are a hoot together! The have
some of the best scenes in the whole show. I love the fact that Alexis was once married to Jax
(even if in name only) and that they are each other's best friend. That relationship has lasted
for years and years. Nancy Grahn is just so comfortable and good in this role.
I only halfway watch Robin and Patrick. Most of the time their storyline bores me. And I remember
when Kimberly originated this role and I've always loved her in it. But this storyline is too
predictable.
And will they let Emily go already! That is another *strange* storyline. However, the developing
story with Nicholas and the new doctor (Patrick's friend....name escapes me) might work into something.
Especially now that he's aligned with Claudia Z. and Jerry Jax.
Speaking of which....I really like Johnny Zacchara. Sonny has really blown it where this guy is concerned. He's
really off his game since Kate came back into his life (which is the whole point, I realize). Johnny is
going to end up being a force to reckon with and I love his scenes with Jason. Although understandably
leery of him, I think Jason sees something of himself in young Mr. Zacchara. He refuses to be blinded by
the name and family association. It makes a good story.....with much more to come.
Okay....that's good for now. I have lots more to say, but as Mick says...."Another time".

Okay, I've actually been behind on GH. I'm having to do it all at once so I did watch Mon-Weds (today). So this is going to be a cluster of things going on in this post. So yes, this will end up being long. You might want to get yourself a drink now. I'll wait....
First...It annoys me how they hurt children on these shows. Seriously? Shooting Michael in the head? Carly losing her baby? Why does no one get to keep their babies on this show?
I totally dig when Claudia (ex-Carly) fights with NuCarly. That is just funny to me. These are the two best B!tchy Carly's ever. So to see them face off is sweet.
Jason and Liz marriage just makes me gag. So that's all I have to say about that. Wait I have one thing to say...If Jason can't be with Sam I actually wouldn't mind seeing him with Carly because those two just dominate the screen when they are on together.
Laura Wright (Carly) is absolutely amazing. She is by far my favorite Carly. I'm so impressed with her acting. She had me in tears. I loved how Carly defended Jason when Sonny lashed out at him. I'm curious as to what is going one with the two mob guys. Well, not completely, I know spoilers but ya know!
I'm actually starting to like Nadine and Nicolas. I like that she stands up to him. So I'm hoping more comes of this pairing.
Okay, now on to my couple. JaSam looked great today. Loved seeing them walking together getting coffee. I am pretty upset though how Jason just sometimes looks away when Sam tries to reach out and be nice. With a flip of a switch he just forgets what all they had. I also hated how Liz kept on looking over there at them. It's none of her business what they are talking about. It kills me that they don't have Sam on the show that much anymore. She's such a good actress. Did I mention she looked great. I want her hair. lol. I still have high hopes for JaSam.
Now and finally on to my main man Jason. Steve Burton is amazing. Did you know he loves Cleveland (here) and is a huge OSU fan? That makes me just love him even more. He was remarkable today. When he shows how he doesn't want to really look at Michael because he knows he'll cry and be emotional and he doesn't want to do that for Carly blows me away. He's done that many many times. The way he tried to hold back the tears and then get's chocked up chockes me up. I had tears pouring down my face during that scene.
Okay, I'll stop talking now. LOL!
OH, for those of you who might venture in here and go "What the hell are those two talking about?" This is real soap acting...case in point....This clip is what I was just talking about. Jason Morgan played by the incredible Steve Burton.

I had tears running down my face when I watched this scene too. What makes this even more poignant is the fact neither Jason or Sonny is Michael's biological father. And yet, even though Sonny adopted him, in my heart Jason is really the only true father figure Michael has had. Jason bonded with him from birth and Michael has always responded better with Jason than anyone else. Michael admires Sonny and unfortunably wants to emmulate him, but when things really go wrong , Michael ultimately turns to Jason.
Everything Alexis always feared about Sonny having children is coming true. The scene in this episode between her and Rick was really, really good also. I've always liked Rick's character, even when he was an SOB. Periods of decency have periodically shown up in him. I think he has always been misunderstood, but everything psychologically wrong with him is beginning to make so much sense now that Trevor has come onto the scene. I think Rick has always wanted to be a good person, but he lacked the emotional foundation for it and now we know why.
Just a few more thoughts.

Very true...I think Jason has been more of a father to Michael than anyone. Even when Cary and Jason where thnk in there with Michael she said something along the lines of "our boy". I took that as her way of remember how great of a father Jason was to him.
I love Rck flaws and all. If you end the show almost hating him then he's done his job and that shows how great of an actor he is. No doubt it...seeing Trevor really tells you all the why's about Rick.
I'm curious as to how they're going to play out this coma stuff with Michael.

Wow! The acting on this show just keeps getting better and better. This time Sis, *you* better go get a glass of something to drink....I'm on a roll!
A few days ago it was Steve Burton who shined....in today's episode it was Laura Wright!
Her scenes as Carly today were mesmerizing. Lashing out at Sonny and finally, finally telling him off and placing the blame where it has always belonged. When she told Kate to "shut up" it wasn't from that Bitchy-Carly place like it usually is, but from deep down in her anguished soul. The realization of what really went down in the warehouse just blindsided her and she was hit full-force with the truth she has been repressing for years. Love or hate Elizabeth, she saw what was happening and had the good sense to alert Jason that Carly really needed him immediately.
Jason's scene with Monica almost made me cry because Jason himself was a heartbeat away from breaking down in Monica's arms and just letting go. You could hear it in his voice and see it in his eyes that he was fighting for control of his emotions. And I thought to myself, how ironic that Jason ends up being Monica's only surviving family (not counting little Jake, of course). I think Jason might have told her aboout Jake had Elizabeth not called right then. I mean, Monica agreed to adopt and raise Alan's illegitimate son with their own son A.J. and through the years, both Monica and Alan felt the guilt as it dawned on them that Jason was the better son. After the accident, it was Monica who finally accepted Jason as the new person he had become (well, Lila did too) and forged a relationship with him despite the devastation she felt at losing the young man he had been.
And finally, Carly's acknowlegement to herself and Jason that all of this was on her....she was to blame for making the choice to be with Sonny, to allow Sonny to be a father to Michael when in her heart of hearts she knew it should be Jason. At this point, even the unspoken realization that Micahel would have ended up in a better place if she had allowed A.J to be a part of his life. Laura Wright was just AMAZING as Carly today.
I haven't always been a big fan of hers. The first Carly (now Claudia), Sarah Brown was okay. She originated the role and I had no real objection to her. When they replaced her with Tamara Braun, it took a long time for me to get used to her in that role, but I ended up really liking her portrayal. Then she left, replaced by Jennifer Bransford, who was so bad they only kept her in the role a few weeks. She was replaced with Laura Wright and I have to say, even though I miss Tamara in this role, Laura has made it her own and she was BRILLIANT in today's episode.
Jason's gut feeling all along was to protect Elizabeth and Jake from his lifestyle and his countless enemies. I never thought for a minute that would ever really change. Just when you think it might, something happens to bring it all home to him again. Sometimes, I truly think he belongs with Carly. They started out together and then Sonny had to sabotage them because he selfishly wanted to keep Jason to himself. And in the end, Jason gave Sonny his way, because that's what Jason does.
As for Michael's fate.....I read somewhere that GH wants to keep Michael in a coma for a while so that the character can age...wake up older with a different actor in the role. Guess we'll have to wait and see.
And on to Sonny. He finally understands his sad role in all of this. That may end up being the true miracle in this story.
Oh and lest I forget.....a great scene with Diane, Max and Alexis. At this point, with all the heavy drama, we needed the modicum of levity these two women inevitably bring to the show. Alexis' reaction was priceless! I love these two.
Just a few more thoughts I need to share.

These past few shows Laura Wright has wow'd me at each and every turn. She has been right on with her emotions. Her anger toward Sonny and Kate was right on.
Lulu is starting to really annoy me with running around town trying to keep anyone from blaming Johnny is just stupid. Then the way she told Johnny that no one is going to blame him because "she made sure of it". Really? Are you sure about that Lulu? Did you not see the look that your cousin Carly gave you? It's like she wants to play house with the big bad Johnny and play Mob Princess or something.
I loved that Jason and Monica are on the way to making amends. I really loved that scene between them. Hopefully they can get past their issues. They're the last of the remaining family members, savor the moment.
Diane, Alexis and Max was OMG too funny for words. Umm WHY was Max hold his leg in the air!?! That's just so wrong. LOL. He's so cute though. By the way, remember him being on Moonlight? Too bad he was the bad guy.
I'm curious as to what they're going to do with this storyline with Michael and how long this will last.

The first time I watched 'Fever' I jumped out of my chair when I saw Derk Cheetwood's
name in the opening credits. I watch him everyday as Max and I really like that character.
Seeing him in Moonlight just felt strange to me, but he did a good job.
And I hated he had to end up being the bad guy.
I liked his scene with Beth and Josh in the ADA's office when he was playing around and asked
Beth when she would realize she had picked the wrong cop to be with.
I always enjoy his performances, but today with Diane and Alexis....that scene was just so funny.

Well, I'm glad to see the Haunted Star open again. I like the idea of Johnny being a part of it. I actually like him and Claudia. Lulu is still getting on my nerves. She just wants Johnny to chase her and that's just getting old.
Alexis and Sam looked gorgeous! Alexis was just WOW. Her and Diane are hysterical. When Alexis was trying to keep Diane from Max...LMAO. What a cute scene that was.
Diane: “ Okay, here are your choices as I see them…you can get out of my way or I will grab you by your hair piece.”
Alexis: “B*tch”
Diane: “Thank you, and throw you off the boat.”
So um is Maxie trying to hit on Johnny? I can’t stand Maxie, Grrr…but then again I thought the look that Lulu gave Maxie and Johnny was funny.
I actually really liked the scenes with Robin and Patrick. Patrick is just so cute and Robin makes an adorable Mommy to be. I really REALLY hope that their baby gets to see the light of day. I’ll be pissed if it doesn’t!
OH and Lucky and Sam are starting to grow on me more and more.

Again, so far this week Diane and Alexis are too funny for words. I just love their friendship.
Yeaaa...Another JaSam scene. Bonnie and Clyde in leather again. It turned out to be a really good conversation. I like how Sam is trying to get answers from Dr. Devlin. I believe she wants to help. No one can ever make me think bad things about Sam. Won't happen. So anything she does I'll find the good in it.
Where has Lucky been lately?? Oh speaking of hotties did you see Patrick's stand in today (Wednesday) I know him from some where, I'm not sure where but I'm sure it's another soap or something. He and Sam would be hot together. It would be great if they could find a role for him to play when Patrick gets back.
Also, I'm sure I mentioned this before but Nadine and Nic are starting to grow on me. I think they are cute together. Let Emily go once and for all.

The best part of Friday’s show was Anna. The woman is too d*mn funny. When she goes to Robin, “Is it yours?” and then goes to answer the door for Robin and goes, “It’s my baggage” opens door and sees Patrick. “Oh no, it’s your baggage. Hiiiii.” and gives him a hug. I really wish they would keep her on the show longer than 10 minutes.

Hey Candy -- got another GH fan here! I am actually venturing onto other boards for a break
Jason & Elizabeth SO need to get together.
Rumor has it Jax may be off bringing Brenda back -- don't like him with Carly.
Love when they have Alan's ghost tormenting Tracy.
Bummer Luke taking off for a while
Johnny -- HOT, don't like Logan
Here is a good site for spoilers if you are interested
