Oh yeah, I'm excited about Rise of the Lycans! Lucian looks so HOT! I'm not really crazy about the actress they chose for Sonja, but maybe she'll grow on me. It's just too bad that we know how their story ends already - its like when they came out with the Star Wars prequels... I really did like Selene too - can you imagine Selene and Lucian together? Did you know they were together in real life for years until that movie? Amazing - they finally make a movie together and they break up... Their daughter played young Selene in the flashback scenes in Underworld - Evolution, so I guess the whole family was in that one..

PS - I have got to get me a siggie!

Erika....I am fairly new to the Underworld universe. Have seen the first movie (and liked it); I have
the second one, but haven't had the chance to watch it yet. As for the new 'Rise of the Lycans'.....we'll
see. I'm sure I'll want to see it after viewing the second one. Why just see part of a trilogy? Right?

Welcome to MVS! As you can tell I'm also an Underworld fan. I knew that Selene and Lucian were really together in real life and had a child together but I didn't know that she was in the movie too. That's really cool. Learn something new everyday. Thanks for that.

Hi Marcus! Thanks for the welcome. (You too, Harmony!) So far, I like what I see here. I had a good time on the CBS message boards last year, but I haven't been there since they dropped Moonlight. Since then, I've just been wandering aimlessly in cyberspace, waiting to find my place.. I think I've found it here, though..

About Kate Beckinsale and Michael Sheen's daughter Lily being in UW-Evolution, I read that on IMDB on one of her parents pages. So I checked my copy of the DVD and she is credited, so that's cool. Now she can say she was in a movie with both of her parents when she was 4.

Now I'm going to need to break out my DVD and check that out. I like fun information like this. Cyberspace and be a very scary place to be. I like it here because it's fun and well crazy. Lots of great people here and it's good to have another UW fan here to join in on the mix. The Administrator isn't too bad herself. She's so not a rule keeper or warden like most, unless she's asked. Haa.

I'm most definitely a UW fan, so you're not too outnumbered, but I've seen the rest of the shows on this board too, so I can play along.. Speaking of the DVD for a second, I have got to get a copy of the first UW, the Unrated Extended Edition - apparently it has lots of extra footage. I caught some scenes on youtube when I was viewing some vids that people made up - some of them were great!

Now, then, to the real question... What to do on January 23? Do I stay at home and watch Moonlight as it comes back on the TV? Or do I go to opening night of Rise of the Lycans? Hmmm..

What do you think, Marcus? Or need I ask..?

LOL now that's a tough question. I for one would DVR Moonlight and go see Rise of the Lycans. Then come back home and watch Moonlight even though I watch them from my PC thanks to iTunes.

I wish there was a way we could 'see' what other members were logged on, or chat in real time. I love this place, but it takes some time between posts, and I'm never sure who's here unless they post something..

Erika - There are several ways to see who is logged on when you are. To see who is on when your first log onto the forum site - just scroll down to the very bottom of the page and look at the names listed within the Who is Online panel. To see who is online on a particular page - scroll down to the bottom of that page and once again look at the Who is Online panel. Another way to see if someone is online is to look at their profile or most recent post and in the bottom you'll see buttons that say profile, pm, e-mail or ON/OFF. If the button is green and reads on that person is online! You can then PM them or e-mail them and trade messages back and forth in that forum or you can ask them to meet you in our ChatRoom. You can find the directions for Chat in the Chat thread within MVS Operations. Chat is open 24/7 and available to all. We don't have set times to meet in the chat on a daily basis but you can find a few of us there each Friday evening for Fang Fridays between 9:00-9:30 EST till whenever... Hope this helps!

Yes, Erika if you ever get a chace please join us on Fang Friday. A quick and easy way to get ready for that is to go to www.TheMVS.net. Go to the tabs at the top and find the chat room one. Register or create an account (sorry can't remember the exact word it uses). We all just use our username here as our sign on name so that its easy to remember everyone.
