From Daemon's TV.com - great now even the critics are talking in circles! BONES "Harbingers in the Fountain" Early Review Season 5 Premiere I had a chance to watch an advance copy of the BONES season 5 premiere "Harbingers in the Fountain" which airs Thursday, September 17, at 8pm on Fox. In "Harbingers in the Fountain", Brennan (Emily Deschanel) and Booth (David Boreanaz) are investigating a gruesome discovery evidence after a psychic (guest star Cyndi Lauper) provides them with valuable information. In parallel, Booth is dealing with a very strong emotional conflict following his brain surgery. In order to offer a complete picture of what you can expect, I have decided to break down the episode and review the different aspects and storylines separately (Warning: some SPOILERS) The Investigation The investigation is actually pretty straightforward. Not anything really exciting to report there. As usual, you kind of have an idea of who the murder is, although there is a somewhat of twist in this episode Cyndi Lauper, as a guest star, was quirky and funny but ultimately not a memorable guest star. BTW, she looks fantastic. You would never know that she is 56. The Lab Everyone at the lab is going about their days essentially revolving around Bones and Booth. No Hodges and Angela storyline. No quirky guest star as a lab assistant. Even the King of Lab moment was boring. Booth and Bones The Booth/Bones storyline is interesting in the fact that it introduces an original storytelling device that is going to make things very captivating for us to watch. I don't want to give it away but it relates to Booth's feelings towards Bones and how he is perceiving those feelings. Let's say that he has to deal with certain feelings and he is questioning the authenticity of those feelings. I know that some sites out there are spilling the beans on this "device" but I will not go there because I want you to discover it as I did. Now, one thing that I have to say about the change is that it was unexpected and actually adds a lot of opportunities to create really funny moments. One of those moments that actually occur in this episode will be when Booth asks Bones to kiss him and then she....well, you will have to wait to see the episode to find out what she does, now won't you. As season premieres go, this is one of the best from Bones. Mostly because of the introduction of this new impediment that Booth has to deal with now. I think that we are in for a hell of ride this season. Source: http://www.daemonstv.com/2009/09/07/bones-harbingers-in-the-fountain-early-review-season-5-premiere/

Bones has been so good lately. I loved how Bones said Booth looked like a furniture mover. I liked him all dressed down and manly with scruff on his face. Bones got stabbed in the arm and big bad Booth came bustin' down the door to save the day. I loved how he held her, kissed her head and called her baby or something. Oh yeah, there's no denying how much he loves her and she him. Now if the writers would just get on with it!

Once again Hart Hansen opens mouth and INSERTS FOOT!
Bones has abruptly shut down production due to a possible outbreak of swine flu, the show’s creator, Hart Hanson, announced via Twitter.
“First time in Bones history we are shut down from production,” Hanson tweeted. “D*mn swine flu! That’s gonna cut into Christmas hiatus.”
A show spokesperson confirms that among those sidelined is leading man David Boreanaz, although it’s unclear if he actually has the H1N1 bug. “David is out with the flu and the show shut down today since he was in every scene,” says the rep. “We hope to resume production tomorrow.”
Hanson later clarified via Twitter that “there is no indication that Boreanaz has swine flu. We expect him back tomorrow. I’m now going out to get swine flu myself in atonement.”
Get well soon, David (whatever it is that ails you)!

The Dechanel sisters rock Bones...
Our friends at Buddytv.com posted this earlier this week.
Zooey Deschanel to Guest Star on 'Bones' Tuesday, October 20, 2009
Exciting news for Bones and Deschanel fans! Zooey Deschanel, Emily's talented and equally adorable sister will finally be answering our prayers and guest starring along side her big sister. Emily has long hoped her sister would someday join her as a guest star on Bones, and it looks like she's finally getting her wish.
David Boreanaz spilled the news to E! Online saying, "I do know that Emily's sister is going to be on the next episode, which is exciting." Considering even the talented writers at Bones couldn't write away the sister's familial similarities, Zooey will be playing Temperance Brennan's cousin. According to Boreanaz, "I think she's going to play Emily's cousin. It's a whole relationship thing that's going on now with us and it continues to grow and grow and get crazy."
As a Bones and Zooey fan I can't wait to see her step into The Jeffersonian and to see the sister's interact together. Hopefully Zooey won't be playing the role of man-eating cousin, now that we have a chance at Booth and Bones, the only thing that would make me hate a Zooey guest appearance is if she ruins that chance. On the other hand, at least Booth would finally make out with a Deschanel sister outside of a coma induced dream.

BONES' 100th episode is full of surprises and this post is dedicated to ODIE! She'll see why @ the end! Warning: Spoilers ahead!!! You've probably already heard a lot of things about Bones' 100th episode, particularly the highly anticipated trip down memory lane in which we get to see Booth and Brennan's first tag-team assignment, or better yet how they first met. That milestone episode is currently in the writers' office but more details have already surfaced about the flashback, thanks to TV Guide Magazine's William Keck. According to Bones creator Hart Hanson, the 100th installment, which is set to air this spring, stems from Sweet's (John Francis Daley) book, which is about to come out. Hanson says, "Booth and Brennan have read it, and they tell him, 'There's only one problem with what you say. You're operating under a huge misapprehension and we have to tell you about our first case together.'" The show will then rewind to six years earlier, which is about a year before the show began in 2005. At this time, we learn that Booth is stuck with one particular case he can't resolve so he tracks down Brennan for help. And not surprisingly, Booth and Brennan don't hit it off from their first meeting. "They didn't like each other very much," says Hanson. "I'm excited to find out what made Booth and Brennan hate each other," adds Emily Deschanel (Brennan). "It had to be something big." But that's not the only thing to look forward to in Bones' 100th episode. Fans can also expect to see Eric Milligan as Zack Addy. Tamara Taylor, on the other hand, will find her character Cam in her pre-Jeffersonian Institute job as a New York coroner. Source: http://www.buddytv.com/articles/bones/b ... 33579.aspx

Wedding Bells on 'Bones'????? Hmmm... I wonder who it could be? Who do YOU think it is? source: http://www.buddytv.com/articles/bones/w ... 33658.aspxTwo regular characters are tying the knot in the fifth season ender of Bones, though series creator Hart Hanson hints that the show might actually bypass the actual ceremony. Don't worry though, it won't be one of those dream sequence storylines nor will it be an exchange of vows via Post-It note a la Grey's Anatomy. Could it be Booth and Brennan? I doubt it. But executive producer Stephen Nathan reveals that their relationship will take a radical turn following the 100th episode, which flashbacks to Booth and Brennan's first case together and serves as a catalyst for what's to come at the end of the season. "After the 100th episode, they will reassess and reexamine their relationship," Nathan tells Entertainment Weekly's Michael Ausiello. "They're going to be going off on a different trajectory than we have been seeing this season. "For most of this season we've seen Booth struggling with his feelings for Brennan," Nathan adds. "And I think after the 100th, they might be a bit more resolved. We'll start off in a new direction for both of them." If you think that "new direction" will involve Booth and Brennan actually consummating their relationship, think again. According to Nathan, that's not likely to happen this season. "I think their relationship is going to take a far more interesting turn. I think it'll be much more interesting than just consummating the relationship. It'll stir everyone up a lot more," he says. Bones' 100th episode is slated to air on April. Meanwhile, fans can catch a new episode of Bones every Thursday at 8pm on FOX.
